UAV Common Automatic Recovery System (UCARS)

SNC’s UAV Common Automatic Recovery System (UCARS) provides precision automatic launch and recovery control of both fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs during shipboard operations. UCARS enables superior control all the way to touchdown in adverse weather conditions, eliminating the need for external pilots. Designed for sustained operations in the shipboard environment, UCARS has its own ship motion stabilization equipment. It does not require GPS or rely on position information from the ship.
