Sierra Nevada Corporation Announces Next Week’s Dream Chaser® Career Fairs
Sparks, NV – July 6, 2012 – Sierra Nevada Corporation’s (SNC) Space Systems will host two career fairs next week hiring Engineers, Technicians and other essential program personnel to design and build its Dream Chaser® Space System (DCSS) at its Louisville, Co headquarters. Dream Chaser is being developed as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Development (CCDev) Program to transport crew and critical cargo to and from low Earth orbit, including the International Space Station.
Located 22 miles northwest of Denver, Louisville is nestled within the Rocky Mountains. Louisville’s small town feel is complimented by its vibrant, urban atmosphere and diverse amenities. The Rockies offer breathtaking views, world-class hiking, biking, and skiing, among other attractions. The city itself is welcoming and family friendly. These factors, in combination with low crime rates and high education achievements, earned Louisville No. 1 ranking in CNN Money’s ‘Best Place to Live’ in 2011. Louisville and the surrounding Denver Metro area have some of the highest paid Aerospace Engineers in the country and it is the second largest area for aerospace employment concentration in the nation.
